Career Development Seminars and Panal Discussion This Week

"BECOMING FACULTY" EVENTS

There are two events this week in the "Becoming Faculty" series targeted at those students who are on the academic job market:

a."Preparing for Campus Interviews"

b."Publishing in Books and Scholarly Journals"
Thursday, November 8, 4:00 p.m.
Dudley House Common Room, 2nd Floor
Speakers include a representative from Harvard University Press, as well as graduate students who have published.

PANEL ON THE TWO-BODY PROBLEM

Friday, November 9, 2:30 p.m.
Dudley House Private Dining Room, 1st floor
Come hear faculty members discuss their experiences navigating the two-body problem--the problem of couples finding careers in the same geographic area. Faculty panelists will be joined by Robin Mount of OCS. Panelists will discuss planning and negotiating career options that accommodate two working partners in a relationship.
