Senior Common Room Dinner with Prof. Lisa Randall on November 5th

Lisa Randall, Professor of Physics at Harvard University will deliver a talk:"Warped Passages: Unraveling the Mysteries of the Universe's Hidden Dimensions." Professor Randall is a leading theoretical physicist and expert on particle physics, string theory and cosmology.

She recently completed a book entitled Warped Passages: Unraveling the Mysteries of the Universe's Hidden Dimensions, which was included in the New York Times' 100 notable books of 2005. Prof. Randall was featured in Seed Magazine's "2005 Year in Science Icons," in Newsweek's "Who's Next in 2006" as "one of the most promising theoretical physicists of her generation" and was named one of Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People in 2007.

The Senior Common Room dinner will start at 6 pm in the Dudley House Common Room, with a reception in the Graduate Student Lounge at 5:30 pm. A limited number of free tickets will be available at the Dudley House Office on the 3rd floor on Monday, October 22nd, 9 am.
